The conference “Interactions between Mathematics and Physics”, which is being organized to honour the 80th birthday of Professor Victor G. Kac (MIT), intends to present some of the most important and recent developments due to the interaction between Mathematics and Physics and the major algebraic ideas involved in the description of physical problems. The conference will take place in Rome (Italy), at the Centro Congressi d'Ateneo, a conference location belonging to the University Sapienza, between May 29 and June 1, 2023. The list of speakers include outstanding mathematicians who have been collaborating with Victor Kac during the years and have significantly determined the development of the mathematical research in the latest decades.

The main program consists of three invited lecture courses delivered by M. Korobkov, P. Mironescu, and J. Van Schaftingen. This meeting aims to bring together researchers with a common interest in the field. Graduate students and others beginning their mathematical careers are encouraged to participate. There will be opportunities for informal discussions and short communications.

The “Fifth Romanian Itinerant Seminar on Mathematical Analysis and its Applications” will take place in Craiova, on 26-28 May 2023, under the auspices of the following institutions: - Academy of Romanian Scientists - Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca - Tiberiu Popoviciu Institute of Numerical Analysis in Cluj-Napoca, Romanian Academy - University of Craiova. The aim of this conference is to bring together Romanian researchers (from Romania and from abroad) working on various subjects in mathematical analysis and its applications. Foreign participants are also welcome (in this case English will be the language of the corresponding sessions). This edition of RISMAA continues the ideas expressed by Professor Gheorghe Moroșanu when he launched RISMAA in 2017. He said that "meetings organized in different places of the country can occasionally gather researchers from different institutions to form large strong research groups." Of course, this facilitates a rapid exchange of ideas and significant scientific progress. "Although there are excellent means of communication nowadays, face-to-face conversations cannot be replaced by anything else, so regular meetings are absolutely necessary", he said. Therefore, physical participation is preferred. However, taking into account the covid pandemic of recent years that may continue in 2023, for this edition of RISMAA, online participation will be exceptionally accepted. The same areas as in the previous editions of RISMAA will be covered, namely: Calculus of Variations, Evolution Equations, Functional Analysis, Geometric Analysis, Integral Equations, Numerical Analysis, Operator Theory, Optimal Control, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Optimization Theory, Set-valued Analysis, as well as various applications in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Economics, Mechanics, Medicine, Physics, etc.

It is our pleasure to host the First SDE - Stochastic Days Encounters: Stochastic Differential Equations and Statistics in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal, from May 25 to 26, 2023. The primary goal of this event is to bring together researchers in some of the most active and promising areas of research in Stochastic Differential Equations and Statistics, to exchange ideas and to foster future collaborations. Another important goal is to expose academics, young researchers, and post-graduate students to the most recent developments in the above active areas. Dear Colleagues, The ICMS Workshop MoDiS 2023 on “Modelling Diffusive Systems” will take place at the ICMS in Edinburgh (UK) during the week 11-15 September 2023. The aim of this workshop is to bring together early-career mathematicians, to present their latest results, exchange ideas, and discuss novel research directions. The workshop is traditionally organized as a two-day event with two parallel sessions: Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory & Topology and Analysis, PDEs & Applied Mathematics. This year the workshop is sponsored by the European Mathematical Society and will be held at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, in Iasi, a culturally rich area of Romania.

Building on the success of the three previous conferences held in 2017, 2019, and 2021 this conference will aim to draw together the considerable community of researchers and practitioners who use/develop innovative mathematics, relevant to the applications and theory of Operational Research. The conference will showcase activities from across OR, and will welcome both contributions which have a clear application focus as well as those which are theoretically driven.

The International conference "Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics. The conference is planned to be held on April 26-28, 2023 in Baku. Languages of the conference: Azerbaijani and English.

This two-day international workshop will present recent research developments in the broad field of Nonlinear Dispersive Waves, with a particular emphasis on nonlinear waves arising in the ocean and atmosphere. The workshop will operate on a hybrid basis: participants may attend either in person, or online. British Mathematical Colloquium is a key annual UK mathematics forum. The 74th meeting, taking place on 3-6 April 2023 at the University of Bath, features 5 plenary talks, 12 morning lectures, and 48 afternoon workshop talks across Algebra, Analysis, Geometry, Number Theory, Probability, and Outreach. The Outreach programme includes a public lecture by Katie Steckles at the Bath Guildhall on 3 April. Poster submissions are welcome -- Springer vouchers will be awarded for the best poster at an evening reception on 5 April.
