CDC Calls for Financial Support now available through Good Grants platform
The EMS Committee for Developing Countries (CDC) has implemented Good Grants as its new application portal for its funding opportunities.
Applications for EMS Calls Financial Support for the Global South: Individual Travel Grants and Event Funding Grants are now open on this platform, with the current deadline set for February 28. All future application rounds will also be managed through Good Grants.
How to Apply
Applications are now being accepted through the Good Grants platform. The process is straightforward:
- Register an account on Good Grants and log in.
- Browse the list of open calls in the Apply section and select the one you wish to apply for.
- Complete your application and submit it for review. You can edit your application after you have submitted it, up until the deadline.
Available Funding Opportunities
- Individual Travel Grants: Supporting mathematicians from the Global South for conference participation or research visits. Applicants must be affiliated with an institution in a developing country and demonstrate active participation in the proposed activity.
- Event Funding Grants: Supporting scientific events organized in the Global South. Funding must be used to support participants from developing countries.
Funding typically ranges from 1000 to 2000 euros. Activities must be scheduled at least two months after the deadline. For more information, please visit the CDC webpage.
