Indo-European Conference on Mathematics in Pune (India), January 12-16, 2026
The European Mathematical Society is pleased to announce that the official website for the Indo-European Conference on Mathematics 2026 is now online.

The conference, jointly organized by the EMS and The (Indian) Mathematics Consortium, will take place in Pune, India, from January 12-16, 2026. The event will be jointly hosted and co-organized by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune.
The conference aims to foster collaboration between European and Indian mathematical communities and will feature the following distinguished plenary speakers:

- Nathanaël Berestycki (University of Vienna, Austria)
- Manjul Bhargava (Princeton University, USA)
- Arup Bose (ISI Kolkata, India)
- Pavel Etingof (MIT, USA)
- Neena Gupta (ISI Kolkata, India)
- Chandrashekhar Khare (UCLA, USA)
- Ariane Mézard (Sorbonne Université, France)
- Siddharth Mishra (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)
- Nitin Saxena (IIT Kanpur, India)
- Claire Voisin (Collège de France, Paris, France)
The scientific program includes 20 specialized symposia covering a wide range of mathematical topics, from Affine Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Coding Theory to Probability Theory and Sheaves and Moduli. Each symposium is organized by experts from both European and Indian institutions, ensuring a truly international perspective on current mathematical research.
