EMS Young Academy - Call for Nominations
The call for nominations to the inaugural EMS Young Academy (EMYA) is now live. Nominations must be made by EMS member societies or institutions, and should arrive before 30th September. Nomination forms and further information can be found on the EMYA page (link).
The EMYA is a new initiative approved at the latest EMS Council Meeting, to integrate the next generation of mathematicians into the EMS structures. Each EMS member society/member institute is invited to nominate two young mathematicians (from 3rd year of PhD up to 5 years after PhD). From these nominations, the EMYA Selection Committee will select the first 30 EMYA members, for the term 2023–2026, and the selected members will have an initial planning meeting in late 2022. Activities of the EMYA will be supported with a reasonable budget by the EMS.
