Call for Nominations: 2025 Ostrowski Prize
The Ostrowski Foundation has opened nominations for the 2025 Ostrowski Prize, which recognizes outstanding achievements in pure mathematics and the foundations of numerical mathematics.
The Ostrowski Prize, valued at 100,000 Swiss francs, is awarded biennially to mathematicians who have made exceptional contributions to these fields. Nominations should be sent to ostrowski@math.ku.dk by May 31st, 2025 and should include:
- a CV of the candidate
- a letter of nomination
- 2–3 letters of reference
The Chair of the jury for 2025 is Mikael Rørdam (University of Copenhagen, Denmark).
Established in 1989, the Ostrowski Prize has honored numerous distinguished mathematicians. Recent laureates include Jacob Tsimerman (2023), Tim Austin (2021), Assaf Naor (2019), Akshay Venkatesh (2017), and Peter Scholze (2015).
