The Quantitative Economics Division is a research group within the Department of Economics that has a clear focus on high-quality research and is active in a variety of topics in economics, econometrics and quantitative economics. The position comprises the following tasks and responsibilities: • Independent research with the aim of submitting a dissertation in economics, econometrics or quantitative economics and acquiring a doctoral degree • Contribution to departmental research and teaching projects • Independent teaching in German and in English and supervision of students • Adequate participation in the administrative tasks and responsibilities of the department • Participation in university committees, in university self-governance and in public relations activities of the department
