Research assistant/ PhD position

Classification: Numerics of PDEs, Modelling, Finite Elements, Functional Analysis
We look for a research assistant who supports us in our interdisciplinary research project (see http://flowculate.eu/ for more information). The candidate should hold a master degree in mathematics, preferably with a good background in numerics of PDEs, finite element methods, functional analysis and/or modelling. The main task will be the mathematical analysis, validation and improvement of our pedestrian flow model. German language is not mandatory for the position.
