The Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1283 “Taming uncertainty and profiting from randomness and low regularity in analysis, stochastics and their applications” offers the job as research assistant in its project C1. - Start: July 1, 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter - part-time 75 % - salary according to Remuneration level 13 TV-L - fixed-term Your Tasks: - scientific collaboration in subproject C1 “Ancestral lines in population models with interaction”; in particular stochastic genealogical processes under various combinations of genetic processes such as mutation, recombination, and selective interaction between individuals (approx. 85 %) - participate in joint research projects and discussions in project C1, and contribute to events such as project internal workshops (approx. 5 %) - contribute to the overall discussions and research in the CRC (approx. 5 %) assist in planning and organizing CRC events (approx. 5 %) Employment is conducive to scientific qualification; the opportunity for a doctoral dissertation is given (German PhD). Your Profile: We expect - scientific university degree (e. g.
