At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Mathematisches Institut, there is a position as Research Assistant(all genders welcome) Besoldungsgruppe A 13 NBesO/100% to be filled. Starting date is 10/1/2023. The position is limited to 09/30/2026. After a successful interim evaluation, there is the option to extend the contract for further three years. Your duties • University teaching as defined in Section 31 of the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony (NHG) • Mathematical research in one of the research areas Topology - Geometry - Analysis Your profile • Master Degree and PhD/doctoral degree in mathematics, • Research focus in “Index theory” • Language proficiency in English and German, • Teaching experience is desirable, • Scientific publication experience is desirable, • we expect willingness to cooperate in projects on “operator algebras and topology” The post is designed to promote early career researchers and it is possible to obtain a Habilitation.
