The Chair of Stochastic Analysis at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) invites applications for one or more postdoctoral researcher positions. We seek outstanding candidates working in Stochastic Analysis with emphasis on stochastic differential equations / multi-scale stochastic systems / SDEs driven by fractional Brownian motions / Functional Central Limit Theorems / Stochastics processes on manifolds. The precise research topic(s) will be discussed with the successful candidate depending on their background and affinities. There will also be plenty of scope for the researcher to follow their own research interests. The position comes with excellent research and working conditions, stimulating work environment set in beautiful surroundings, opportunities to interact with other world class research groups. We encourage personal initiative and independent research tasks related to the candidate’s interests. The position is initially for 1-2 years with possibility to extend.
