NYU Shanghai invites applications for several postdoctoral fellowship positions in Mathematics. The fellows will be part of the NYU-ECNU Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU Shanghai, which is built with the collaboration and help of the Courant Institute and East China Normal University (ECNU). The areas of expertise of possible mentors in the group are currently mainly in probability, partial differential equations and geometry, but candidates in all domains of mathematics will be considered. The teaching load will be four recitation sections every year, with corresponding office hours and grading duties. The postdoctoral fellow can also be encouraged to teach a class instead of some recitations during their term, and can also ask to group their teaching load on one semester, subject to availability. The positions will start either in January 2022 or in September 2022 and will last one academic year, renewable twice, upon agreement from the Area Head of Mathematics, after consultation with the Fellow’s mentor.
