The Dynamical Systems group of the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computing at the University of Campinas (IMECC-UNICAMP), in Campinas, Brazil, welcomes applications for a one-year post-doctoral position in Dynamical Systems, with a possible extension for one additional year. The research activities are funded by the FAPESP Thematic Project “Geometry of Control, Dynamical and Stochastic Systems” (Grant # 2018/13481-0) and will be held at IMECC-UNICAMP in Campinas. This position is in the field of Dynamical Systems. The research will be supervised by Professor Marco A. Teixeira and will focus on Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems with possible applications to: bifurcation theory, nonsmooth differential systems, ergodic theory, and related topics. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the monthly amount of BRL 8,479.20 plus a research contingency fund equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship, which may be invested in expenses directly related to the research activity. The selection process is expected to be completed and the selected candidate will be notified by late March. The starting date can be as early as April, 2023.
