We are currently seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. student at the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry at the Technische Universität Wien to work in the field of geometric flows and convex geometry under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Ivaki. The successful candidate will work on developing new techniques for understanding the behaviour of extrinsic curvature flows and applying them to problems in convex geometry and geometric analysis. Responsibilities: Conduct research on geometric flows and convex geometry Collaborate with other members of the group on research projects Present research findings at conferences and seminars Requirements: Master's degree in mathematics Strong background in differential geometry Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English The position is for three years and is fully funded.
