International PhD scholarships

The Department of Mathematics in the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany, invites applications for 2 scholarships for non-German doctoral candidates (€1,200 monthly stipend) to start between 1st of May 2022 and 1st of Novemer 2022. Funds are provided by the DAAD for a period of three years. In addition to the scholarship, the funding line includes a fixed sum for travel expenses, health, accident and liability insurance as well as a contribution towards research expenses. The PhD programme in Mathematical Sciences focuses on high-level research in mathematics. It features intensive training and cutting-edge research projects in pure and applied mathematics, emphasising independent research on the part of the students. The call is open for all fields represented at the Faculty of Mathematics.
