The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong track record of research excellence and will be able to lecture a range of courses in statistics at undergraduate and masters-level. They will have the ability, or potential, to secure research funding to support their research vision and build a network of collaborators. The post-holder will be part of the world-leading Statistical Laboratory with strong interdisciplinary connections within Cambridge, the UK and internationally. Cambridge University has been ranked in the top 5 for Mathematics in the QS World Rankings for each of the last 5 years. The Mathematics departments occupy a modern, purpose-built campus, also including the Isaac Newton Institute. As well as relocation costs, start-up packages (up to 5 years) are provided to assist the post-holder in establishing their research in Cambridge and regular sabbatical leave enables Faculty to focus on research and scholarship.
