Associate Professor £56,021 - £64,914 per annum About the Role The Warwick Mathematics Institute invites applications for the post of Assistant/Associate Professor, to start in September 2024. We have two positions available, open to all areas of mathematics. Associate Professorships are permanent appointments and usually for those who already have a well-established track record in research and significant lecturing experience. Those appointed at the Assistant level are supported through a five-year probationary period to enable them to fulfil the criteria for promotion to Associate Professor. About You All applicants should hold a PhD and have already demonstrated excellence in research and an ability to teach effectively. About the Department Warwick Mathematics Institute is internationally recognised for its research and our best undergraduates are a match for those at any other UK university. Our historical strengths in pure mathematics are now complemented by increasingly broad coverage of applied subjects.
