The Faculty of Science of the University of Geneva has an opening for a position as : Assistant (tenure-track) or associate professor at the School of Mathematics The School of Mathematics of the University of Geneva is inviting applications for a position of Assistant (tenure track) or Associate Professor (PAST-PAS) in mathematics, with a preference for subjects related to analysis and probability. Excellent candidates in other areas of mathematics will also be considered. The advertised position is full time, tenured for Associate Professor and tenure track for Assistant Professor. The position involves teaching at the Bachelor, Master and post-graduate level, supervising Master and PhD theses, developing research at the highest international level, securing external funding and taking up administrative and organizational duties in the School. The successful candidate should be able to develop a broad and independent line of research on topics of interest of the School of Mathematics. She/He is expected to contribute to the excellent international scientific reputation of the University of Geneva. Title and Required Skills PhD in sciences or equivalent degree. Publications in top international mathematics journals. Starting date : 1st September 2026, or as agreed.
