The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate and graduate levels in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics. The number of employees is 130, including 40 PhD students. The Department has three research programs: Analysis and Probability, Algebra and Geometry, Applied Mathematics and Statistics. One of these positions will be connected to a research project on random graphs, another one to a research project on Hecke algebras and categorical representation theory.
