2.2.3 Tasks of the Vice-Presidents

The following responsibilities are assigned to the Vice-Presidents (VP):

• 1VP: communications (including the EMS Magazine / EMS Digest and webpages)
• 2VP: meetings and scientific events

Tasks of the Vice-President:

• Has the power to replace the President whenever absent.
• Has a signature right together with another member of the EC on behalf of the EMS.
• Can share tasks with the President according to EC decisions.
