SUMMARY:Singularities and Curvature in General Relativity
DTSTAMP:20260401T014400Z
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20230618
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20230622
DESCRIPTION:General Relativity is traditionally studied from an Analysis/PD
E\, Differential Geometric\, or Physics perspective. Recently\, new approa
ches to analyze nonsmooth Lorentzian structures have also emerged from Geo
metric Measure Theory and Optimal Transport. This workshop brings together
for the first time experts from all these different approaches to study G
eneral Relativity to discuss open problems and new tools. To facilitate ma
ximal interaction two minicourses and several introductory/plenary talks a
	re scheduled.\n\nMinicourses:\nA. Bernig (Frankfurt)\, Y. Shlapentokh-Roth
man (Toronto)\n\nInvited speakers (* to be confirmed):\nL. Andersson* (Bei
	jing)\, D. Faifman (Tel Aviv)\, N. Gigli (SISSA)\, G. Holzegel* (Münster &
	 London)\, M. Kiessling (New Brunswick)\, M. Kunzinger (Vienna)\, K. Lands
	man (Nijmegen)\, R. McCann (Toronto)\, R. Perales (Oaxaca)\, M. Sánchez (G
	ranada)\, I. Stavrov (Portland)\, S. Suhr (Bochum)\, M. Van de Moortel (Ne
	w Brunswick)\, Q. Wang (Oxford)\n\nOrganizers:\nA. Burtscher (Nijmegen)\,
