DESCRIPTION:The Iberian Mathematical Meeting is a joint event of the Real S
	ociedad Matemática Española (RSME) and the Sociedade Portuguesa de Matemát
	ica (SPM). It aims at bringing together Spanish and Portuguese and  mathem
	aticians from all over the word  in order to develop mathematical research
	 for the future.\n\nFormer editions of the Iberian Mathematical Meeting we
	re held in Lisbon (2007)\, Badajoz (2008)\, Braga (2010)\, Valladolid (201
	2)\, Aveiro (2014)\, Santiago de Compostela (2016) and Évora (2018).\n\nFo
	llowing the tradition of previous meetings\, the event is structured aroun
	d three main scientific areas. In this edition\, the scientific areas are:
	\n\nThe mathematics of information\nCalculus of variations\nComputational 
	Algebra and Applications\n\nIn addition to the plenary conferences\, speci
	fic sessions for these three areas will be held with invited speakers as w
	ell as a poster session (submissions are welcome!).\n\nOn behalf of the Or
	ganizing Committee\, it is a pleasure to invite you to participate in the 
	8th Iberian Mathematical Meeting\, to be held on October 5-7\, 2022 at the
	 Institute of Mathematics of the University of Seville\, Spain.\n\nThe reg
	istration period is currently open. \n\nWe look forward to seeing you in S
	eville !!
